Free community workshops on managing your money in today’s economy

Consumer Credit Counseling Services of NH and VT, Concord, NH.

CCCS of NH & VT is happy to announce a series of three community workshops aimed at helping consumers manage their money in today’s economy. Becky Palmer, Director of Education, will be presenting these free seminars thanks to a grant from Fidelity Investments in New Hampshire. “We’re thrilled to support the effort of CCCS of NH & VT to educate consumers about how to spend and save wisely,” said Alison Stebbins, General Manager for Fidelity Investments. “Access to a comprehensive financial education, especially today, is one of the keys to a successful future.”

Take Charge of your Money in today’s Economy: workshops are free and open to the public. Topics to be covered will include:

Using credit wisely and to your advantage
Making the most of your credit score
Avoiding debt and dealing with debt
Minimizing your debt by maximizing your budget
Using your budget to keep track of your credit
Budgeting Basics
Credit Considerations
Spending leaks
Managing and maintaining good credit

Three communities have been selected for the workshops:
